CCSD Celebrates Read Across America Week!

It’s Read Across America Week! As part of the nationwide reading event that coincides with Dr. Seuss’s birthday, our schools are hosting special activities like guest readers - including our School Board members and Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis. Literacy is a foundational skill, and our School Board is laser focused on student success with investments including our first School Board-set English Language Arts and literacy student performance goals, our first School Board Policy centered on literacy, and the adoption of expanded new English Language Arts instructional resources now in use.  Thank you to our reading teachers for all you do to help our students learn more, grow more and achieve more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else! #CCSDElevateTheExcellence
